Billy Cravens's Gravatar It's actually just a page on WhyPark.com, a domain parking service, a site also written in CF. (Nice set of related articles to the domain though, unlike most of those services) Like I pointed out there, it's also amusing that a high % of the sites on ColdFusionBloggers.org are running on WordPress :0)

John Whish's Gravatar I don't think that it is that surprising that a lot of ColdFusion blogs use Wordpress. Good developers should know which technology is the right one to use for a specific project. Wordpress has had a huge amount of developer hours spent on it and is a very good blogging engine so why not use it. This doesn't mean that PHP is better than ColdFusion (or vice versa). It just shows that those ColdFusion developers find ColdFusion the best technology to use building bespoke apps and they think that Wordpress is the best tool to use for maintaining their blog. I'd say that shows that they are smart people and technology aware.

Sid Wing's Gravatar Billy - As I write code in both PHP and CFML - I just found it amusing... But I agree with John - use whatever works to meet the specific need. I've written CFML that wrappered PHP and leverages some .NET codebase as well - so I am all about the "whatever works" mentality.
