Computer Geek Nostalgia - Part 2

In a previous post, I had discussed my fondness for the old Text Adventure games produced by a company called Infocom (who were later bought out apparently by Activision).

You may also remember that I implemented a website that would allow us to play some of our favorite old text adventures - but saving and restoring the games were not possible at that time.
Well - in my copious amounts of spare time (read that as LESS THAN AN HOUR A DAY) - I have found a new Java-based, Zmachine interpreter. It's called ZMPP - short for "Z-machine Preservation Project" - by software author Wei-ju Wu (2005-2008) - http://sourceforge.net/projects/zmpp/. This new Z-machine engine DOES allow for the SAVE/RESTORE functions to work - so here we go again with the new revamped engine.
