CFUNITED - Day 1 Sessions
After the keynotes, and then the mad race to collect "stamps" at all the vendor booths - It was off to the "sessions". My favorite one was actually a two-part session (before and after lunch) run by Raymond Camden
Ray gave a two-part session on AJAX, CF, and Spry. All in all a great set of sessions - with MUCH information downloaded to us in Ray's typical, fun-loving style. His presentation materials are available online under the "Topics" tab of the CFUNITED website. He even covered my personal (un)favorite bug concerning the "OnRequest" method of Application.cfc and the problems it induces when trying to do AJAX calls or access the CFC to serve WebServices. Now I sit and wait anxiously for tonight's networking event and the BOF meetings afterward.
